DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL FOR AN APPOINTMENT?
No, there is no need for a doctors referral. Patients do not need a referral to be treated at Soar!

ARE CHIROPRACTIC ADJUSTMENTS SAFE?
Chiropractic adjustments are widely recognized as a safe, non-invasive therapy for treating conditions of the joints, muscles, and nerves. Chiropractic adjustments are well-researched, and chiropractors are well-trained healthcare providers. Dr. Taylor will always clearly communicate before performing an adjustment and walk her patients through the treatment each step of the way. Chiropractic adjustments are optional in a treatment plan.
HOW LONG DO SESSIONS LAST?
Your initial assessment and treatment takes approximately 45 minutes. Follow up visits vary in length depending on a variety of factors. They are normally either 20 or 30 minutes in length.
HOW MANY SESSIONS DO I NEED?
It depends. On your initial visit, your therapist will be able to give an accurate timeline following your assessment and based on your condition.
As a general guideline, for minor challenges and injuries, you will see significant improvement in 4-6 sessions (2-3 weeks). For major injuries, expect to see improvement in 10-12 sessions (4-8 weeks). For severe and long-term problems (such as post-surgical cases), expect significant results over months not weeks.
These are very general timelines, and every case is different. If you do not experience significant results, we will direct you to a health care provider who can!
DO I NEED TO SEE A CHIROPRACTOR FOREVER?
It depends on the patient. You are by no means obligated to continue with chiropractic once you start. After a successful recovery, some patients decide to return for treatment only if pain arises again. Others decide on continuing care for their problems and benefit greatly from maintenance care. This is especially true if you have an injury that repeatedly occurs, or you have a physically intense occupation or hobby. Ongoing muscle and joint health can be compared to maintaining your fitness or going to the dentist for a check-up. For chiropractic, we usually recommend every 4-6 weeks to maintain muscle and joint health
